Well, this was a good first week of summer.
Monday a few girlfriends and I went to Santa Barbara to the beach, but it was chilly, so we drove up to Solvang and hung out there too. Solvang is a little Dutch town that my friend (who is Dutch) says is just like home. It was really cute, and tey sell wooden shoes and stuff. I got yelled at for trying them on, but there was no sign saying you couldn't- so I reminded the guy of that fact, took my picture and put the shoes away.
Ah, the problem with not being the type to shut up.
It was a lot of fun though, we got home so late after traffic and stuff. We came home around 11pm and we'd left at 8am, so it was a loooong day- but worth it.
Tuesday- we stayed home and watched the Rurouni Kenshin DVD's we've been Netflixing, I'm telling you Teh Boy is more addicted than I am. It's cute.
Wednesday- we went to see Terminator (after much grumbling on my part) but I'm embarrased to say that I ended up crying at the end of the movie. I'm such a sap. Then we went to my dad's house, hung out, and my brother invited us to the movies again. So we saw Night at The Museum too. Good day.
Yesterday- I watched Saved! and then went to school, met with some friends to organize for Relay for Life and then went to a local farmer's market with one of my best girlfriends. I'm sad we're transferring, but we're close, so I'm sure we'll stay in touch.
Today- I worked, came home early, waited for Teh Boy's sister to come home and now am waiting for him to get dressed so we can go to the store.
That's about it for me this week. Gonna spend tomorrow night at my dad's house again and then I'm gonna chill on sunday and do some writing. I'm stumped on En Famille, but Bacchanalia is coming along.
Ok, gotta run, hope everyone's well, I'll try to drop by and comment sometime in the next few days!
On a random note- I love this Ariel icon, she has such a smart-alec kinda smile, super cute.
